Job Overview

Wheatfield Primary School is seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and positive Teaching Assistant to join our hard working team from September 2025.

Your opportunity

We are looking for a highly motivated individual who will work as a class-based Teaching Assistant at Wheatfield Primary School. They will join a very hard working and dedicated team of teachers and support staff, who focus on improving outcomes for the pupils in their care. The successful candidate will work Monday to Friday, 8.30am - 3.30pm.

The Details

Start Date: September 2025

Hours: Monday - Friday 8.30am - 3.30pm

Pay Scale: Associate 2.1 £22,918.66 FTE

Pro-rata salary: £17,799 (based on 32.5 hours a week, term time only)

Contract type: Permanent
