A Secondary school in the Witham area is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their vibrant team!

About the Role:

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting teachers and helping pupils thrive in their learning environment. Whether it's providing one-to-one support, working with small groups, or assisting with classroom activities, your contribution will help create a positive and inclusive atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the classroom teacher in delivering engaging lessons
  • Work with students individually or in small groups to reinforce learning
  • Assist in preparing learning materials and classroom resources
  • Encourage student participation and monitor progress
  • Help manage classroom behaviour in line with school policy
  • Support children with additional needs, where required

We’re Looking For Someone Who:

  • Previous experience working with children ideally in an educational setting.
  • Has a positive attitude and a genuine passion for education
  • Is patient, caring, and able to build strong relationships with students
  • Has good communication and teamwork skills
  • Is flexible and able to use their initiative
  • (Desirable) Holds a relevant TA qualification or has previous experience working in a school setting
