Job summary

Teaching Personnel is seeking a supportive and enthusiastic Secondary Teaching Assistant to work in one of our partner secondary schools on a full-time, temporary basis in Dewsbury, West Yorkshire.

You will support teachers across the secondary curriculum, work with individuals and small groups to boost learning, assist with classroom management and behaviour, and help create an inclusive, safeguarding-aware learning environment.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people (school-based experience desirable)
• A positive, patient, and proactive approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Reliable, flexible, and committed to supporting learning
• An understanding of safeguarding and child protection (training provided)

Pay: £90–£115 per day (dependent on experience)
