Job summary

Totternhoe CE Academy is seeking an outstanding Teaching Assistant to join our teaching support team. You will help deliver engaging learning activities, support individual and group learning, and foster a caring, nurturing classroom environment where every child can flourish.

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people, with Enhanced DBS disclosure and safeguarding checks required.

• Puts children at the centre of all they do
• Is committed to delivering excellent learning opportunities for children
• Has an in-depth understanding of how children learn best
• Can make learning fun and engaging
• Is able to build relationship with children

Responsibilities

• Assist teaching staff to deliver engaging learning activities.
• Help create a supportive and stimulating classroom environment.
• Support individual and group learning to raise learner engagement.
• Care for and build positive relationships with pupils.
