Job summary

Uplands School in Swindon is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant SEN to support teaching staff and contribute to the development and education of learners. You will assist with planning, preparation and delivery of lessons for whole class and individual pupils, while preparing resources to support activities and providing pastoral support.

You will help evaluate student progress and share feedback with teachers to ensure learning needs are met.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 3 GCSEs at C grade or above, including English and Maths.
• Teaching Assistant qualification desirable.
• Experience of class supervision and assisting with lesson provision to achieve positive learning outcomes.
• Good written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work in tandem with teaching staff.
