Job summary

Blue Kite Academy Trust seeks a Teaching Assistant for St Leonard's Church of England Primary Academy in Swindon. This full-time, term-time post runs across 38 weeks per year with a shorter Friday and a temporary contract to 31 August 2027.

What the job involves

• Provide general classroom support to the class teacher and groups of children in the morning
• Give dedicated 1:1 support to a specific child at lunchtime and in the afternoon, helping them access learning and take part safely in routines and activities
• Contribute to the delivery and monitoring of interventions for individuals and small groups
• Support assessments and record evidence of learning
