Job description

Including Outer Fringe Allowance of £562.90

Plus prorated SEN allowance of £2,024.04 per annum.
32.25 hours per week, term time only for 39 weeks per year including INSET days.

Current working pattern is 08:45 – 15:45 (Mon, Weds, Thurs, Fri) and 08:45 – 16:45 (Tues).

Parkwood Hall is a residential and day school for pupils aged 8-19 years with moderate to severe learning difficulties and other complex needs, including autism and language difficulties. Key responsibilities include supporting and developing the educational environment, extending curriculum skills, social skills, and personal development, and ensuring a safe environment both emotionally and physically, within school guidelines and procedures. Experience working with children and Level 2 qualifications (GCSE or equivalent) in English and Mathematics are essential.
