Job summary

Witherslack Group is seeking Teaching Assistants to support children and young people with SEND across our schools in London and the South West. You will help develop their learning, raise self-esteem and celebrate small victories that add up to big progress.

This role asks for resilience and dedication; training is provided, and you’ll join a supportive team with excellent benefits, induction, and opportunities for progression.

Qualifications

  • Experience in a classroom helps; willing to training and induction provided.
  • Resilience and dedication to support pupils with ASD/SEMH needs.
  • Ability to work as part of a supportive team with therapists and teachers.

Responsibilities

  • Help children learn, develop abilities and raise self-esteem.
  • Support the teacher and work closely with therapists.
  • Be resilient and committed during challenging days.

You’ll be working with children and young people with Autistic Spectrum Disorder/Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs. You’ll be there to help them learn, develop their abilities and raise their self-esteem.
