Job Overview

• Mentoring, supporting and inspiring learners by supporting them with curriculum-based learning in the classroom, on home tuition and outreach and through outdoor activities.
• Assisting with the preparation of learning material and contributing to the delivery of learning objectives with a strong focus on behavioural management and emotional health assessment tools.
• Daily reports on learners’ progress and barriers to learning.
• Work collaboratively with members of SLT and Student Support & Intervention Mentor to support students and their parents.
• Interaction with parents/care givers on a regular basis.

Our Ideal Candidate Will Have

• A committed and passionate view of students with SEND
• At least two years’ experience minimum of working in a SEND environment or similar unit/provision
