Job summary

Choice Teachers is seeking dedicated Teaching Assistants for secondary schools in St Albans. Flexible day-to-day and longer-term placements are available, with DBS checks and safeguarding requirements supported by the agency.

You will assist teachers, work with individual students and small groups, and contribute to a positive, inclusive classroom environment across multiple local schools. Weekly pay and competitive daily rates are offered by a GCA-accredited agency.

Qualifications

• Experience with children or young people in an educational setting is desirable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Positive, proactive and flexible attitude for versatile placements.
• Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
• Enhanced DBS via Update Service is preferred or willingness to obtain one.
• Teaching Assistant qualifications are advantageous but not essential.
