TeacherActive Ltd in Sandwell is seeking enthusiastic and reliable teaching assistants for supply opportunities across primary and secondary schools. Roles vary from day-to-day supply to longer placements, with duties including general classroom support, 1:1 or small-group assistance alongside teachers.

Qualifications

Opportunities are available across primary and secondary settings, with roles ranging from day-to-day supply to longer-term placements. Depending on the setting, the successful applicant may provide general classroom, 1:1 or small-group support, working alongside teaching staff to create a positive learning environment. Longer-term and permanent opportunities may also be available where suitable.

The successful Teaching Assistant will have:

• A relevant teaching assistant qualification is desirable
• Experience working with children or young people in an educational setting
• Experience providing classroom, 1:1 or small-group support
• The ability to adapt to different learning environments
• A positive, patient and proactive approach
