Job summary

Teach South Kent is seeking caring and patient Teaching Assistants to support pupils at a specialist SEN school in Sittingbourne. Immediate starts available, with full-time or part-time hours to suit you. You will work alongside teachers to help pupils access an engaging curriculum, build confidence and develop independence.

Experience in a school, care or support setting is helpful but not essential. You will use visual supports, signing or assistive technology as directed to support

Teaching Assistants – SEN School

Location: Sittingbourne

Hours: Full-time or part-time

Start: Immediate starts available

We’re looking for caring, patient and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to support pupils at a specialist SEN school in Sittingbourne. Pupils have a range of additional needs, including autism, severe and complex learning difficulties, and communication needs. Some pupils may use visual supports, symbols, signing or assistive technology to help them communicate and take part in learning.

You’ll work alongside teachers and support staff to help pupils access an engaging curriculum, build confidence and develop independence. Full-time and part-time opportunities are available, with immediate starts for the right candidates.
