Teaching Assistants - Saltash

Location: Saltash and surrounding areas
Pay: 85- 100 per day (depending on experience)
Start date: ASAP
Contract: Flexible - day-to-day, long-term, or temp-to-perm
Hours: Full-time or part-time, term-time only

We're supporting several schools in and around Saltash who need reliable Teaching Assistants to help pupils succeed. Whether you've worked in schools before or supported young people elsewhere, this role offers flexible work that genuinely makes an impact.

You don't need formal qualifications - just a positive attitude, patience, and some experience working with children or young people.

What you'll be doing:

• Assisting pupils during lessons, either 1:1, in small groups, or alongside the teacher

• Helping children stay engaged and supported throughout the school day

• Supporting pupils with additional needs, behaviour challenges, or learning difficulties

• Working as part of the classroom team to maintain a calm, positive environment

What we're looking for:

• Experience supporting children or young people in any setting

• A patient, approachable, and proactive attitude

• Willingness to follow school routines and work collaboratively with staff

• Confidence adapting to different pupils' needs and abilities

What you'll need:

• An enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)

• Two recent references (within the last two years)

• Legal right to work in the UK
