Job summary

Thrive Education in Salford is seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school from September 2026. The role involves supporting a Junior class and delivering targeted interventions to help pupils progress academically and socially.

You will work closely with the class teacher, support phonics development with Little Wandle, and contribute to creating a positive, nurturing learning environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working within a school setting.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of Little Wandle Phonics.
• A positive, proactive and nurturing approach.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to build strong relationships with pupils and staff.

Thrive Education is currently recruiting for an experienced Teaching Assistant to work within a welcoming Primary School in Salford from September 2026.
