The purpose of the Teaching Assistant is to support the children with their learning and general wellbeing to ensure every child has the best opportunity to reach their full potential in a caring and safe environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Support teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
2. Assist with classroom management to create a positive, focused learning environment.
3. Provide one-on-one or small group support to students, including those with additional learning needs.
4. Help students with tasks such as reading, writing, and completing assignments.
5. Foster an inclusive and supportive classroom atmosphere.
6. Assist in preparing learning materials and resources.

What We're Looking For:

1. A passion for working with children and a commitment to their learning and development.
2. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
3. Patience, flexibility, and a proactive attitude.
4. Prior experience working with children or a relevant qualification (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant certification or equivalent) is desirable but not essential.
5. A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to support a wide range of learning needs.
