Role: SEND Teaching Assistant

Location: Rotherham

Salary: £90-£100 per day (Depending on experience and/or qualifications)

Contract: Long term Supply

About the role

Source Supply are currently recruiting a SEND Teaching Assistant to work in a primary school in Rotherham. As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will be working with Children and young people with Autistic Spectrum conditions, profound and multiple learning difficulties. This role requires an engaging, proactive and adaptable Teaching Assistant with great communication skills & a want to make a difference in young people\'s lives.

You will work as part of a dedicated and committed team that have a child-centred approach in all they do. The school work tirelessly to make sure each of their pupils achieve their potential.

Qualifications
  • Experience in working with children in a school or specialist setting
  • A nurturing, patient and consistent approach
  • Have referenceable experience working in a school setting.
  • Be passionate about education, with a desire to help young people thrive.
  • Be an excellent communicator with a positive, cando attitude.
  • Ideally hold a full, clean driving licence and have access to vehicle.
