Job summary

Uplands Community Primary School is seeking a skilled Teaching Assistant to work Monday to Friday during term-time from 08:55 to 15:25. The role involves supporting SEN pupils on a one-to-one basis and assisting pupils across the school in small groups.

Previous experience with diverse learning needs is advantageous but not essential. The post is a temporary fixed-term contract with a potential extension, and successful applicants will be subject to an enhanced DBS clearance.

Job description

We are seeking to appoint a skilled and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant working Monday-Friday in term-time only from 08:55-15:25 with SEN pupils on 1-1 basis and supporting pupils across the school, both in small groups or on a 1-1 basis. Please note this vacancy is a temporary fixed term contract with the possibility of this contract being extended. Previous experience supporting pupils with a variety of learning needs would be an advantage but not necessary.
