We are looking for a Teaching Assistant for our New Options School - Riseley Green School in Riseley, Berkshire. The school will have capacity for 60 pupils aged 4-16 years old and is due to open in May 2025.
Our New Options School will cater for pupils who have ASC and Complex Needs.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will connect directly with the brilliant pupils and young people we care for, helping to ensure they get the very best from their education. Each individual has so much potential, and they will rely on you to guide their learning journeys.
You will help prepare learning materials and run classroom activities, gaining hands-on experience and some supervision. You will also take responsibility for their emotional and physical needs, supporting their development as individuals and engaging with the world.
Supporting pupils with complex Social Emotional Mental Health (SEMH) needs is important and rewarding work. You will benefit from the support of our experienced teams. As you help our pupils and young people achieve progress, you will enjoy having a direct, positive impact on their lives.
You will be adaptable and ready to work in various classroom roles, both indoors and outside, according to individual needs. Taking a responsive and caring approach, you may run classroom activities, lead outdoor experiences, or supervise pupils exploring further afield.
