Teaching Assistant

Education Supply Pool is a PAYE Employer recruiting Teaching Assistants to support day-to-day, short-term, and long-term positions on behalf of schools based in Rhymney and its surrounding areas.

We are looking for someone FULL TIME who is a Teaching Assistant with a minimum of NVQ Level 2, CACHE Level 2, BTEC, BA (Hons) Education, or experience working within an education setting. The ideal candidate will have a specific background in Education, with a minimum of 3 months experience working inside a classroom in either a Primary or Secondary school environment.

Owning a valid UK Driver's License and having access to a vehicle would widen job opportunities.

Teaching Assistants are a crucial part of the education workforce in Wales. The role of a Teaching Assistant is vital to supporting and motivating children in Wales.

Successful candidates will be required to attend an interview and I.D check in our office located in Newport city centre. Directions will be provided closer to the date.

The successful candidate will:

• Have a minimum of 3 months experience inside a UK Primary or Secondary classroom or teaching assistant environment with the correct Education and Training.
• Assist with preparing lessons in all areas of the school curriculum with consideration of varied levels of student abilities.
• Follow instructions and maintain a positive attitude.
• Provide stimulating activities while ensuring hygiene and safety rules.
• Maintain a supportive and clean classroom environment.
• Be attentive to the unique needs of each student and be able to identify proper solutions when children encounter issues.
• Have great communication skills to collaborate with other teachers and families when needed.
