Job summary

Vision for Education Ltd is currently seeking a Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join a well regarded Primary school in Peterborough. The role is full time and starts in September 2026, with a daily rate of £93–£105 depending on experience and qualifications.

The successful candidate will work alongside teachers to provide high-quality learning support, helping pupils reach their full potential in a safe, inclusive environment. DBS clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
• Experience supporting primary pupils is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons and learning activities.
• Assist in planning and preparation of lessons, resources, and displays.
• Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils, including those with additional needs.
• Monitor and record pupils' progress and provide feedback to teachers.
• Help maintain a positive, orderly classroom environment.
• Promote inclusion and support pupils' emotional and social development.
• Supervise pupils during breaks, lunchtimes, and on school trips as required.
