Teaching Assistant Role - Primary Schools in Pembroke Dock

Vision for Education is looking to register Teaching Assistants for primary schools in the Pembroke Dock area. You will support children mainly within the Foundation Phase in small group settings. Teaching Assistants with a Level 3 qualification in Childcare are encouraged to apply, as this qualification is highly sought after by schools. The ability to speak Welsh would be an advantage but is not essential.

This role requires highly motivated, committed, passionate, and resilient Classroom Support Assistants with excellent communication skills and a proactive approach. You will support teachers and assist children throughout their day with various activities. Responsibilities include helping with lesson preparations, setting up the classroom, managing behaviour, and providing additional support to pupils who need extra help. You will be part of a dedicated, child-centred team.

Requirements

• Experience working with children, especially within a Foundation Phase setting.
