Pay: Depending on the role, experience and school; agreed before you accept a placement

Location: Melton Mowbray, Asfordby, Great Dalby, Waltham on the Wolds, Long Clawson, Bottesford and nearby villages

Contracts: Day-to-day supply, short-term, long-term, maternity cover and permanent

Hours: Full-time and part-time

Teaching Assistant opportunities

• Primary support: EYFS, Reception, KS1 and KS2, helping children with phonics, reading, writing, numeracy and classroom activities.
• Secondary support: Helping pupils access lessons, stay engaged and build confidence across KS3 and KS4.
• One-to-one and small-group support: Supporting individual pupils and focused learning activities under teacher guidance.
• SEN/SEND support: Working in mainstream classrooms, specialist schools and resource bases.
• HLTA opportunities: Roles for applicants with suitable experience and qualifications, with duties and pay discussed separately.

You don't need experience across every age group or setting. Tell us where your strengths and interests lie.

SEN/SEND experience welcomed

We welcome experience supporting pupils with autism/ASC, ADHD, SEMH, learning difficulties, speech, language and communication needs, sensory impairments, physical disabilities and complex needs.

Experience in nurture provision, behaviour support, care or developing children's independence is also valuable. Any personal care duties will be discussed before you accept a role.
