Join Teaching Personnel as a Primary School Teaching Assistant and play a key role in shaping the classroom experience for children in a vibrant and welcoming primary school in the Market Harborough area.

About the Role:

As a Teaching Assistant, you’ll work closely with classroom teachers to support pupils across a range of subjects and activities. Whether you're helping with phonics, preparing resources, or offering one-on-one support to children who need a little extra help—you’ll be an essential part of a positive learning environment.

Your responsibilities will include:

Supporting pupils in class, small groups, and 1:1

Assisting with lesson preparation and classroom organisation

Helping manage behaviour in a calm and encouraging way

Providing emotional support and promoting positive relationships

Supporting children with additional learning needs (SEN)

What We’re Looking For:

A caring, patient, and proactive attitude

Experience working with children (school, nursery, care, youth work, etc.)

Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships

A passion for helping children learn and grow

A willingness to learn and get involved in school life

Relevant qualifications (e.g. CACHE, TA course, or a degree) are helpful but not essential
