East Point Academy in Lowestoft is seeking a Teaching Assistant to support pupils to achieve their full potential. This part-time role is 15 hours per week over two days (Monday and Wednesday) and is paid on the Support Staff Pay Scale D, pro-rata for 39 weeks.
You will assist with learning programmes, support pupils with SEND and EAL, promote positive behaviour, and help manage the classroom as part of Inspiration Trust.
Salary: Support Staff Pay Scale D: £9,070 to £9,214 pro-rata per annum (Actual) (£25,583 - £25,989 full time/full year equivalent)
Part Time: 15 hours per week over 2 days (Monday, Wednesday)
Working Weeks: 39 weeks
Start Date: As soon as possible

You will be motivated to enable access to learning for pupils, including specialised support for those with special education needs. You will be responsible for supporting effective pastoral care to support pupils' social and emotional progress as well as their learning.
