Westwood Primary School in Lowestoft seeks a committed Higher Level Teaching Assistant to support learning across Early Years and Key Stage 1. You will work closely with teachers to deliver engaging activities and support pupils with diverse needs, contributing to progress, wellbeing and confidence.
Based in Reception when not performing HLTA duties, you will need EYFS experience and a sound understanding of EYFS. The role may include occasional class cover in KS2 as needed.
Location: Westwood Primary, Lowestoft, Suffolk
Contract: Part Time, Fixed Term (until 31/08/2027)
Working Pattern: 31.25 hours, 38 weeks, term time only
Salary: ALT Grade F £20,530.86 - £21,903.77Annually Actual

This role offers the opportunity to play a key part in our Early Years provision. The successful candidate will be based in Reception when not carrying out HLTA duties, so experience of working within EYFS and a sound understanding of the EYFS curriculum are essential. While HLTA responsibilities will mainly support EYFS and Key Stage 1, there will be occasions when class cover is needed in Key Stage 2.
