Teaching Assistant - 1:1 Support (Autism)

Location: Chiswick, West London

Start Date: September 2025

Contract: Full-Time, Term-Time Only (Fixed-Term, with potential to extend)

A warm and inclusive primary school in Chiswick is seeking a caring and committed Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a child with autism, starting in September 2025.

This is a full-time, term-time only position ideal for someone passionate about supporting children with additional needs and making a meaningful difference in the early stages of education.

The Role

• Provide consistent 1:1 support to a child with autism within the classroom setting
• Work closely with the class teacher, SENCO and external professionals to implement support strategies
• Foster the child's communication, engagement and emotional well-being
• Support social interaction and help the child access all aspects of the curriculum
