Location: Primary school in Hammersmith, London Contract Type: Full-time - Monday to Friday Start Date: September 2025 Salary: £90 - £110 per day (depending on experience)A vibrant and welcoming primary school in Hammersmith is looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their team from September 2025.As a teaching assistant, you will work closely with class teachers to provide individual and group support to pupils across various year groups. Day to day responsibilities:

Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons and activitiesProvide one-on-one or small group support to pupils who may need extra helpHelp create a positive and inclusive learning environmentSupport pupils with their emotional, social, and academic developmentPrepare classroom resources and assist with general administrative tasks

Requirements:

Previous experience as a teaching assistant is desirable but not essentialA patient, caring, and enthusiastic approach to working with childrenStrong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a teamA genuine interest in education and child developmentWillingness to take direction and learn on the jobThe school are open to take on recent graduates, aspiring teachers, or anyone passionate about education.
