Qualifications

  • Expérience avec des enfants de moins de 5 ans (payée ou non).
  • Connaissance des politiques de protection de l'enfance.
  • Capacité à créer une interaction ludique avec les enfants.

Responsibilities

Job description

Teaching Assistant Level 1 X 2 posts (fixed term for 1 year depending on pupil numbers)

Working Weeks: Term Time Only – 37 weeks a year

Hours: 15 hours per week – 11:00am to 2:00pm Monday to Friday

The Federation of Kintore Way Nursery School and The Grove Nursery School are looking to recruit Level 1 Teaching Assistants with Midday Meals duties to work in our Nursery Schools with children under 5. You also may be required to work across the Federation, however this post is predominantly for Kintore Way Nursery School.

We require someone who:

  • has experience of working with children under 5 years (paid or unpaid)
  • has knowledge of basic Health and Safety & First Aid
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Has knowledge of Safeguarding
  • Has a commitment to supporting children with Special Educational Needs and / or Disabilities (SEND)
  • Can support children through eating lunch
  • Has a playful nature and a warm and loving approach to children
  • Can engage children in back and forth interactions and can engage children in conversations.
