Job description

Are you passionate about supporting students in their journey?

Are you dedicated to empowering young children to reach their full potential? If so, we have the role for you!

We are working with a Primary School in Lewisham that requires a Teaching Assistant to support one of their Year 4 students on a 1:1 basis. The child you will be supporting needs close support to help keep him engaged within lessons as he is working at a lower level.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will need to be confident working with the class teacher to help manage his behaviour within and outside of the classroom, so previous experience supporting children with Learning Difficulties and/or challenging behaviours is very desirable.

This role is to start after Easter break on a full-time basis, until the end of the academic year in July 2025.

This role will pay up to £550 per week!

What the school is looking for in their Teaching Assistants:
