Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM (30-minute lunch break)
Pay Rate: 13.69 to 15.83 per hour

Reeson Education is recruiting a warm and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a friendly two-form entry primary school in the WN4 area of Wigan. This Teaching Assistant role is to start as soon as possible and will run on a full-time, long-term basis.
As a Teaching Assistant, you'll be based in a Year 4 classroom, supporting the class teacher and working closely with pupils, particularly those with lower ability and additional needs. The school is known for its welcoming and inclusive ethos-you'll be joining a supportive staff team that will welcome you with open arms.
Work in class as a Teaching Assistant, supporting whole-class learning and small groups.
Provide targeted support to pupils with SEND and those working below age-related expectations.
Collaborate with the class teacher and SENCO to implement strategies and interventions.
Foster a positive, encouraging, and calm learning environment.
Help pupils develop confidence, independence, and engagement in lessons.
Be a committed, reliable, and nurturing Teaching Assistant.
Have experience supporting children with SEND or lower ability pupils.
Be confident working across the curriculum in a Year 4 setting.
Show excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Have a genuine desire to help children thrive in school.
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply).
Right to work in the UK.
Recent references covering the last 2-3 years.
Strong commitment to your role as a Teaching Assistant.
