We are looking for highly motivated and committed Teaching Assistants to work across schools in Liverpool on a flexible basis.

Job Type: Day-to-day, short-term, long-term, or ad-hoc

Pay: £90 - £100 per day (including holiday pay)

Our clients are schools across Liverpool in need of Teaching Assistants. You will be supporting students within small groups, students will need a range of support depending on the school. Many of the roles we advertise may start as temporary but there is often the opportunity to work long term or even permanent.

Key Requirements
  • Experience and understanding of how to support young people with social, emotional, mental health needs.
  • References covering the last two years (no gaps)
  • Hold a current DBS on the update service or willing to take one out
  • The Right to Work in the UK
Duties
  • Supporting and supervising educational games, sports, and craft activities
  • Helping children with their reading
  • Preparing the classroom for a lesson
  • Working with pupils in small groups/and or working 1:1 with children with additional needs
  • Putting together displays of children's work
  • Supporting teachers in managing class behaviour
  • Listening to children read, reading to them, or telling them stories
  • Helping children who need extra support to complete tasks
  • Supervising group activities
