Would you like to work as a flexible Teaching Assistant across schools in Liverpool?

Role and Duties

We are looking for enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to support in various schools across Liverpool on a flexible basis. Our clients are schools across Liverpool in need of Teaching Assistants. You will be supporting students on a 1-1 basis or within small groups. Students will need a range of support depending on the school.

Many of the roles we advertise may start as temporary, but there is often the opportunity to work long-term or even permanently.

  • Experience and understanding of how to support young people with social, emotional, and mental health needs
  • School experience supporting students in a classroom or 1-1
  • References covering the last two years
  • Hold a current DBS on the update service, or are willing to complete a new DBS
  • The Right to Work in the UK
Duties
  • Supporting and supervising educational games, sports, and craft activities
  • Preparing the classroom before lessons
  • Working with pupils in small groups and working 1:1 with children with additional needs
  • Putting together displays of children's work
  • Supporting teachers in managing class behaviour
  • Helping children who need extra support to complete tasks
  • Supervising group activities
