GSL Education are currently seeking a Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive school in Peacehaven. This full-time role offers a great opportunity to work closely with pupils and teachers, providing tailored support that encourages academic and personal growth.

Your Responsibilities as a Teaching Assistant:

• Support pupils in the classroom, both one-to-one and in small groups.
• Assist teachers with lesson preparation, delivery, and behaviour management.
• Help pupils develop confidence, independence, and social skills.
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teaching staff.
• Foster a safe, respectful, and engaging learning atmosphere.

Requirements:

• Experience working with children in a school or educational setting.
• A calm, supportive, and proactive approach to helping pupils.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to support pupils with additional or special needs.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one.
