Job summary

Vida Education is currently seeking Teaching Assistants to work at schools in Lancashire and Cumbria. The role is suitable for experienced teaching assistants, higher learning TAs, or learning support assistants.

Responsibilities include supporting lessons, preparing classrooms, managing behaviour, and working with students one-to-one or in small groups. A Level 2 TA qualification or 1 year TA experience is required, along with an enhanced DBS or willingness to apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or a minimum of 1 year work experience as a TA in a school setting.
• Confident communication skills and ability to motivate students (1-2-1 or small group support).
• Current Enhanced DBS with Update Service, or willingness to apply for a new DBS (cost applied).

For this role, applicants who apply will have:

A minimum Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (Supporting Teaching and Learning) or a minimum of 1 years work experience/employment as a Teaching Assistant in a school setting (you must be able to provide recent references).

Confident communication skills and to be a motivator in the classroom (1-2-1 or small group support).

A current Enhanced DBS that is registered with the Update Service, or you will be prepared to apply for a new DBS with ourselves (cost applied).
