Job summary

Vida Education is seeking Teaching Assistants to join schools across Lancashire and Cumbria. The role focuses on assisting teachers, preparing classrooms, and supporting students in small groups or one-to-one settings.

Applicants should have a Level 2 TA qualification or at least 1 year of TA experience, with confident communication and reliability. A current Enhanced DBS with Update Service is preferred or willingness to apply for a new DBS (costs apply).

Qualifications

• A minimum Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (Supporting Teaching and Learning) or a minimum of 1 year work experience as a Teaching Assistant in a school setting (references required).
• Confident communication skills and ability to motivate students in classroom settings (1-2-1 or small groups).
• A current Enhanced DBS registered with the Update Service, or willingness to apply for a new DBS (cost applicable).

Job description

We are currently looking for Teaching Assistants to work at schools.

Are you an experienced teaching assistant, higher learning teaching assistant, or a learning support assistant?

Responsibilities of a Teaching Assistant:

Committed to support both the teacher and the students to succeed

For this role, applicants who apply will have:
