Job summary

Bay Leadership Academy is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to provide tailored support to pupils and help enable an outstanding learning environment. The role requires a committed team player with excellent organisational and people skills to develop learning across the school.

Proposed start date: Tuesday, 01 September 2026. Requirements include NVQ Level 3 Teaching Assistant or equivalent, experience of working with children in a school setting, and the ability to work with pupils

Qualifications

About the school

Bay Leadership Academy is a secondary school for 11 to 16 year olds in Morecambe. The school joined Star Academies in 2018 and has a leadership specialism. The role

We are looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to provide tailored support to pupils at Bay Leadership Academy. The successful candidate will be committed to making a positive difference to young people’s lives and to supporting and developing their learning. The role will help enable an outstanding learning environment, providing the support pupils need to succeed.

The position requires a committed team player with excellent organisational and technical skills, the ability to effectively support learning and teaching, and the capacity to develop relationships across the school and the Star community.
