  • Britannia Primary School, Ipswich, Suffolk IP4 5HD
  • £8,354 actual per annum
  • 15.66 hours per week, 38 weeks per year*
  • Fixed term until 31 August 2026 with the potential to be made permanent
  • Reference: 7245
  • Required as soon as possible
  • Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, 1pm – 3.20pm, and Wednesdays 8.30am -3.20pm (Wednesdays will include a 30-minute lunch)

We are looking for a Teaching Assistant with good communication and written language skills to support the learning of children across the school.

You will work with a team of class teachers and other Teaching Assistants to ensure all children are able to make the most of their learning opportunities, being flexible and creative while building on children’s interests.

Each day you will be required to supervise a 30-minute lunchtime duty and run small group interventions in support of core subject learning. You will also support pupils within class-based core subject lessons on occasion.

This post would suit applicants who have experience in an educational setting; however, this is not essential.

A GCSE grade C or above (or equivalent) in both Mathematics and English is essential.
