Job summary

Vision for Education are seeking a Full-Time Teaching Assistant in the Huddersfield area to support a secondary school. The role is full-time, with an ASAP start and potential permanency for the right candidate. Opportunities exist across Kirklees.

The successful candidate will work with pupils in KS3/KS4, assisting the class teacher to deliver sessions in small groups and maintain strong relationships with staff and learners. A proactive and flexible approach is essential.

Full-Time Teaching Assistant

£98.77 - £100 per day

Vision for Education are looking to appoint a Full-Time Teaching Assistant to work at a secondary school in the Huddersfield area. This is a full-time role, ideal for an experienced or newly qualified Teaching Assistant looking for their next opportunity. To start asap, this position has the potential to be made permanent for the right candidate. Opportunities are available throughout Kirklees.

The role

The successful Full-Time Teaching Assistant will be a passionate and proactive individual, capable of building good relationships with pupils and staff. Working in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, you will have a good understanding of the curriculum and be able to work with the class teacher to deliver sessions in small group sessions. Requirements

To be considered for the Full-Time Teaching Assistant position, you will:

• Have previous, recent experience working with young people
• Have a high level of literacy and numeracy
• Have a flexible approach to work and be able to think on your feet

• Have excellent classroom management skills
