Pay: £89.05 – £100 per day
Hours: 08:30 – 15:30
Contract Type: Day-to-Day or Long-Term (Flexible, Part-Time or Full-Time)

Supply Desk is a nationwide education recruitment company, specializing in Primary, SEND, and Secondary education. We place our support staff in both day-to-day and long-term placements across Primary and Secondary schools in Brighton & Hove, East Sussex, West Sussex, and surrounding areas.

We are currently seeking dedicated and adaptable Teaching Assistants and Support Staff for roles starting in September in the Hailsham area. Positions are available for both day-to-day cover and longer-term assignments, with flexible part-time and full-time options.

Whether you are an experienced classroom assistant or passionate about supporting children’s learning, this is a great opportunity to work across a variety of primary school settings and make a meaningful impact.

Key Responsibilities:
• Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and interactive lessons
• Provide one-to-one and group support to pupils, including those with additional needs
• Assist with classroom preparation, setup, and administrative tasks
• Help create a safe, nurturing, and positive learning environment

What We’re Looking For:
• Previous experience working with children in a school or similar setting (preferred)
• ️ Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A patient, caring, and flexible approach
• ️ A current, enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
