About The Role:

As a Teaching Assistant, you will be working alongside a team of support staff in class and providing 1-1 support to students who demonstrate challenging behaviour. You may also assist teachers in delivering Outdoor Education such as Rock Climbing, Paddle Boarding, and Sailing, as well as playtime duties and engaging with children who may struggle with confidence and self-esteem.

It is desirable if you:

1. Have previous experience working with children and/or adults with learning difficulties including ADHD, SEMH, and ASC
2. Have experience in Sports/Physical Education/Outdoor Education
3. Have youth/community work experience
4. Have SEN experience
5. Have experience as a residential support/care worker
6. Have sports coaching experience
7. Have prior mentoring roles
8. Have experience as a Teaching/Learning Support Assistant
9. Can engage pupils in their learning and support their social, emotional, and personal wellbeing

Requirements:
