Due to expansion, the new Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team at Unsted Park School & Sixth Form are recruiting for a Learning Support Assistant to join our Education team now! We are looking for versatile, resilient and committed people, who can adapt their practice wherever necessary to support across all key stages. The successful candidate will work alongside the class teacher, assisting a small group of children with their work and supporting with pupil behaviour while establishing good relationships with pupils, acting as a role model and responding to individual needs. This position is Monday to Friday, term-time only. A school lift/taxi service is available from Guildford Train Station if required.

Unsted Park School has an Ofsted rating of Good with Outstanding features. Our school is set in a beautiful semi-rural location with 44 acres of surrounding grounds. We are a SEN school specialising in the education and care of children and young people between the age of 7 to 19 years who are diagnosed as being on the autistic spectrum with associated learning difficulties. We are looking for someone with the passion, enthusiasm and drive to support our young people in achieving their potential. You will be part of a dedicated and lively team that focuses strongly on the core areas of education, independence and inclusion.

As a TA/LSA, you will work with class teachers to provide support for young people. This will be through various subjects and using different communication and engagement techniques. Full time and part time opportunities available.
