Job description

Teaching Assistant at St Paul's CofE Primary School & Nursery

Salary: Surrey Pay S3.

Contract: Fixed Term / Permanent depending on experience.

Hours: 8:30 - 3:15, Monday to Friday.

St Paul's CofE Primary School & Nursery wishes to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistant. The role will primarily involve working 1-to-1 with a child to support their success and readiness for school. Additionally, the candidate should:

  1. Be able to work well with children aged 2-11.
  2. Have a good standard in both English and Maths.
  3. Be confident in handling children who struggle with social and emotional regulation.
  4. Support children with intimate care needs, including nappy changing.
  5. Work flexibly as part of a team.
  6. Show initiative and proactively develop children's learning.
