Role: Teaching Assistant

Location: SK7

Start Date: September

Hours: 8:30 AM : 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday

Pay: GBP13.69 to GBP15.87 per hour

Contract: Full:time, long:term

Reeson Education is working with a nurturing and supportive primary school in the sk7 area to recruit a Teaching Assistant to join their team from September. This full:time, long:term Teaching Assistant role will involve working 1:1 with a KS1 pupil who is currently working at EYFS level. The pupil has significant needs, including Speech, Language and Communication (SLCN), global developmental delay, and social and emotional difficulties.

Teaching Assistant : The Role

• Teaching Assistant to support a KS1 pupil on a 1:1 basis
• Pupil is working below age:related expectations and requires tailored support
• The child has difficulty communicating and regulating emotions, which can result in some challenging behaviour when they become frustrated or overwhelmed
• Your role as a Teaching Assistant will be to provide structure, calm guidance, and personalised strategies to help the pupil thrive
• Full:time hours: 8:30 AM : 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday
