Job Title: Teaching Assistant
Salary: £20,906.25 per annum (not pro rata)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday 8.00-16.00, Wednesday 8.00-17.00
Contract: Permanent, Term time only

As part of our continued growth, we are looking for Teaching Assistants to join our team at Longdon Park School in Egginton.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will work directly with pupils, helping them get the best from their education. Each has a diagnosis of Autism and may have additional needs. You will support their learning and development, helping them reach their potential.
You will assist in preparing learning materials, running classroom activities, and supporting emotional and physical needs. Every day will be different, and you'll have support and guidance to develop your skills.

You should be adaptable, caring, and ready to work in various roles indoors and outside, depending on individual needs. You will work as part of a team, sharing knowledge and experience.
About us
Longdon Park School, opened in June 2015, caters for pupils aged 7 to 18 with complex needs, communication difficulties, and challenging behaviour, primarily with ASD. We provide a therapeutic and inclusive learning environment to help pupils succeed and transition smoothly to the next life stage.
Our school is not easily accessible by public transport.
