Job summary

Teach is recruiting enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to work on a flexible supply basis across Dudley and the surrounding areas. This role supports pupils in mainstream and SEND settings, with a focus on building confidence and positive learning habits.

You will assist teachers, work 1:1 or in small groups, and adapt to different school environments. SEND experience is welcome but not essential, with transferable care or youth-work backgrounds encouraged.

Supply Teaching Assistants – Dudley

Teach is currently recruiting enthusiastic, caring and experienced Teaching Assistants to work on a supply basis across Dudley and the surrounding areas.

If you’re passionate about supporting children and young people and want the flexibility to choose when and where you work, we’d love to hear from you.

We work with a wide range of schools, offering opportunities across mainstream primary and secondary schools, specialist provisions and SEND settings.

What will you be doing?

• Support pupils on a 1:1 basis or in small groups
• Provide classroom and learning support
• Assist teachers with learning activities and classroom routines
• Encourage positive behaviour and engagement
• Support pupils with additional learning needs
• Help pupils develop their confidence, independence and social skills

SEND experience is welcomed

However, SEND experience isn't essential for every role. We also welcome applications from candidates with transferable experience who are looking to develop their career within education.

Experience in care, support work, youth work, childcare or other roles involving children and young people may be highly relevant.
