Pay: £89.05 – £95.26 per day
Hours: 08:30 – 15:30
Contract Type: Long-Term, Full-Time

Are you a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant looking to make a real difference in a child’s early learning journey? Supply Desk is delighted to be working with a lovely primary school in Crawley that is seeking a Year 1 Teaching Assistant for a long-term position starting September 2025 through to July 2026.

This is a fantastic opportunity to build meaningful relationships and provide consistent support to young learners in a nurturing and engaging environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and age-appropriate lessons.
• Work closely with Year 1 pupils, providing 1:1 and small group support.
• Help maintain a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
• Support classroom organisation, preparation, and day-to-day admin tasks.
• Promote pupil well-being and encourage positive behaviour.

Requirements:

• A passion for supporting early years education and child development.
• Ideally some classroom experience, though not essential.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A valid DBS on the update service, or willingness to apply.
