Job summary

Stivichall Primary School in Coventry is seeking a devoted teaching assistant to support learning within a phase as a proactive team member. The role includes helping children with phonics, language development, and engaging them in activities to underpin the Primary National Curriculum.

You will also assist during lunchtimes, organizing play and other supervised activities, contributing to a safe, welcoming environment with a committed staff and governors backing ongoing professional

What is the job role?

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and committed teaching assistant with relevant qualifications to support teaching and learning within a phase as a dynamic and

proactive member of the team.

The successful applicant will also support children at lunchtimes by organising play and

other activities (suitable lunch breaks will be arranged to accommodate this).

• has a strong understanding of phonics and early language development
• understands the Early Years curriculum and early childhood development
• has a good understanding of the Primary National Curriculum
