Remedy Education is recruiting enthusiastic General Teaching Assistants to work in Corby and surrounding areas. Whether you're experienced or a graduate, this role offers valuable classroom exposure and the chance to support children's learning and development.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children with additional needs.

• Availability for five days per week, with a 6–12 month commitment or a full academic year.

The Role of a Teaching Assistant

Working alongside teachers, you will help create a safe, inclusive and engaging learning environment where every child can thrive.

• Assisting with classroom activities, lesson preparation and learning resources.

What we're looking for in a Teaching Assistant

• Experience supporting children with additional needs, including learning difficulties or disabilities.
• Strong communication skills and a patient, positive and proactive approach.
• A genuine passion for education and children's development.
• A degree at 2:2 or above is desirable, particularly for graduates aspiring to teach.
• Availability for five days per week where required, with a preference for a 6-12-month commitment or a full academic year, depending on the role.
• An Enhanced DBS registered with the Update Service, or willingness to apply for a new check.
