Teaching Assistant (Secondary School) – Enfield, London

Location: Enfield | Contract Type: Full-time / Term-time only / Part-time / Permanent | Salary: £89 - £110 per day | Start Date: As soon as possible

About the Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to deliver high-quality support in the classroom, helping to create an engaging and inclusive learning environment. Your role will be vital in supporting students' academic progress, personal development, and emotional wellbeing.

  • Assist teachers in planning and delivering lessons and learning activities.
  • Support individual students or small groups, including those with special educational needs (SEN).
  • Help to create a positive and stimulating classroom environment.
  • Provide additional support during assessments, group work, and enrichment activities.
  • Foster positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
About You

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Passionate about education and supporting young people.
  • Patient, empathetic, and enthusiastic.
  • Able to build strong relationships with students and staff.
  • A team player with excellent communication skills.

Desirable:

  • Experience working with secondary-age students.
  • Knowledge of SEN support strategies.
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g. Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification).
