To further support their students, the school is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Higher-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their team from September.

Role Overview:
As a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers to support learning and ensure each child reaches their full potential. This role involves contributing to lesson planning, delivering tailored support to individuals and small groups, and helping manage classroom activities. It’s a fantastic opportunity for a passionate educator who is committed to making a meaningful difference in pupils’ learning journeys.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the class teacher in planning and delivering engaging, effective lessons.
  • Provide one-to-one and small group support, both within the classroom and during focused intervention sessions.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and development.
  • Assist in monitoring and promoting pupils’ emotional and pastoral well-being.
  • Carry out administrative tasks including resource preparation and tracking pupil progress.
  • Deliver targeted interventions to support children with additional needs.
  • Collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student success.
